Automatic Load Frequency Control of Renewable Energy Integrated Hybrid Power System

Frequency aberration, power quality, and system instability may be caused by the general perception of Renewable Energy (RE). To control frequency with tolerable limit, load is being performed. Automatic Load Control (ALFC) must provided a proper controller. Ziegler-Nichols method used to tune parameters Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller for Hybrid Power System (HPS). Traditional PID controllers are capable handling larger varieties rapid changes in variations renewable energy hybrid systems. This work considers HPS 2000 MW including RE resources. The OP4510 utilized hardware-in-loop (HIL) simulation test accomplished controller's real-time applicability. MATLAB Real-Time simulator provide identical results.
